Get on the Protection Team

  • In the interest of public health, Dr. Provost Robin Coger has declared the expectation that all employees and students that work and learn on the Health Sciences Campus will receive a seasonal influenza vaccination this year.
  • Immunization of the work force and student body will create a healthier and more productive environment with fewer absences and less transmission of the influenza virus. Several studies have shown that increasing vaccination rates of heath care workers in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and sites with large elderly populations improves outcomes for these patients. Vaccination of our employees and students will improve the health of our patients.
  • Know the deadlines
      • Sep. 14, 2023: ECU Influenza Awareness Campaign begins.  View the full schedule for employee and student learner opportunities at ECU Pharmacy Influenza Vaccination Clinics.
      • Nov. 1, 2023: All employees and students should have received their immunizations.
  • GET THE WORD OUT: let other employees and students know about the program to improve compliance.
